There were more armed Police there than within an average square mile.
Why ? Windsor 3.4, and 5 and Kate, all in the same place.

It looks as though the thinking on discharge after childbirth hasn't changed much from when I had my first child .... many moons ago.

I'm not sure whether other hospitals used the same classification for first and second days. If you had the baby before noon and everything went well, you were discharged on what was called the second day - beginning that same afternoon.

If you had the baby after noon and everything was fine, discharge did not take place until the next day - classed as the second day.

I was just plain awkward, I'm afraid. :-S
