Joy I don't need to loose weight so it is just to keep fitter :-D

Von Report 18 Jul 2018 18:42

The trouble was you don't wear a phone to bed ;-) ;-) ;-)
This is just like a watch . Also monitors your sleep pattern.
You have to carry your phone about all the time for it to monitor your steps.

It's definitely not a con and I for one have exercised a lot more.I thought I walked quite a lot before I had it. :-0

Sounds better, Von.

So how many steps does it take you to walk a mile?

Are you aiming for fitness or at losing weight or both?

Oh those you do realise it's a con. I can walk a 1000 steps and wouldn't have walked nearly as far as someone much taller than I am. I can download an app to do that on my phone for nothing.

Mine does the same thing as a fitbit Joy. It syncs with a computer so you can monitor your progress.
It tells the time, date, calories used, steps taken miles walked.
You have to keep charging fitbits the same as you do phones or tablets etc.
It's worth looking to see what's available. :-D :-D :-D

Von, I had only heard of a Fitbit because just after Christmas when I was in Next one of their young male assistants got chatting to me and showed me the Fitbit he'd got as a Christmas present. When I asked if he did a couple of miles on it daily he said he'd already done six miles just getting to work and walking around the store - it was about 9.30 am so I was well impressed!
