Allan was pondering on the use of the word 'trip' especially as he had eaten some mushrooms that he found growing in a magic place

Locals are becoming very concerned as they have heard that the character known as Al LAN has been talking about ending his trip before he has the chance to get home from his epic journey. ;-)

Any local police that can be spared have been asked to keep a lookout for a character last seen dragging a heavy and capacious lady's bag.

Weight of his OH's bag which now contained the contents of a small flat, complete with the kitchen sink.

Allan was in no mood for a quick tap dance!

It wasn’t just the brown ale that gave Allan the staggers, but the..........

Pausing only long enough to down several pints of Newcastle Brown, and replenish the supplies in his OH's copious bag, they eventually went forth, or, in Allan's case, staggered fifth.

Allan took several to get over the shock of still being in Newcastle, Ontario and his OH had now seen all tat there is to see and enjoyed several trips on the lake.
So now it was time to knuckle down and get on with their journey so.........

But fear not dear readers....Allan has many skills...unfortunately reading in the dark is not one of them....you guessed it....don't even try and figure out how.....he ended up in Newcastle no problem.....but the one in Ontario he'd never left at all it seems :-)

The trouble with travelling in the dark is that it is much more difficult to read the destination and arrivals boards........

Now all they had to do was make their way from Newcastle to Sydney, where they could catch the train to Perth.

This would best be done in the dead of the night so that the multiple personalities would not be aware of what was happening.

and wouldn't you know it he woke up in Toronto again....BUT...in NSW

Allan gulped the beer down with relish. Tomato actually.

When he got to the bottom of the glass he saw a small piece of antler. That buck was definitely not stewed enough to be made into beer.

After all the activity, and the warmth and the beer, Allan began to close his eyes and dream. Dream of going home...……………...

Silly Allan it's a fishing schooner as everyone knows.....as Allan ran towards sugar beach he saw a lovely Muskoka chair...it looked so inviting...he decided to pause for a while....once sitting there he relaxed and suddenly found he had a long tall glass of something cold in his hand.....it was a beer..the famous buck a beer!!

The Bluenose2 was, in reality an Acanthopagrus butcheri which is native to Australia.

They had to be close to home, thought Allan, as he chased down the road after it.

Where is Detective Murdoch when you need something invented!

"Good evening everyone I'm Pat Foran for Consumer Alert. Tonight we're talking to Allan and his long-suffering OH. They've just fallen off the edge walk and somehow survived the massive fall from the top of the CN tower. Tell me, how does it feel?"

"Well Pat I've had some amazing adventures lately but toppling off this little tower beats them all. If it wasn't for OH copious bag acting like a parachute I hate to think what might have happened."....as Allan finished speaking he realized OH was nowhere to be seen....looking off into the distance he spotted her...she'd made it to sugar beach already and was attempting to board the BlueNose 2..."that would never make it all the way home" thought Allan.....

Down and down went Allan and OH. She hanging onto him for grim death.

Luckily there was an awning below and broke their fall.

However a great crowd had gathered, and phoned the local tv station.

Before they knew it, Allan and OH were being interviewed by a reporter.....

... I've been living on the edge for weeks - so here go...……………...es!

Except Allan being a tad square didn't know it which The Cube to go for...and somehow found himself in The Cube restaurant in the University of Toronto..well he always is a bit peckish...."well if I'm in Toronto" thought Allan "I might as well do the Edgewalk"....what could possibly go wrong.......
