Strong winds are expected to cause some disruption, particularly during Saturday daytime.

- It’s likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities affected by spray and/or large waves
- Some short term loss of power and other services is possible
- Probably some bus and train services affected, with journeys taking longer
- Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely, with some fallen trees possible. Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely
- Minor damage to temporary structures, with some outdoor events and activities potentially affected.

I watch medical programmes and they are always sorting out bits in ears, most from cotton buds, One young woman was in danger of going deaf because she was addicted to cleaning out her ears :-0

It happened to us once. Too much wind to put up the tent. Had to go to local B&B for the night :-(
