Advice please,
My computer is currently running on windows 7 and it is really slow.

Is it possible to download windows 10 onto it for free and how safe is it to do it.

A frequent cause of computer slow downs is pups and adware of one sort and another. Download and install malwarebytes (free) which will remove all unwanted stuff

Windows 10 needs 4 GByte of memory to run properly. If your system has that much and cannot be further extended go for Windows 32 bit otherwise 64 bit and UG the RAM - it is v cheap on eBay. If you only have 2 GB of RAM extend it to at least 4 GB.

The installation of Windows 10 can take ages ... be patient. Make sure yr machine is online using ethernet not wifi during the install process.

good luck
