I went to Worthing to see my youngest daughter yesterday, it was my youngest Grand daughter's 2nd birthday.
We went to the Lido.
At one point, I went to the loo, and there was a mother and child in one of the cubicles, and the child was whining and complaining.
When I came out, they had gone, but a woman came out from another cubicle and commented on the whining child - saying 'She must be a right handful'. I agreed.

I went out, and saw my daughter and the Birthday Girls elder sister. A (she's 4).
Yes, they were the mother and whingeing child - and A was still at it!
She's not normally a moaning Minnie, but when she goes - she goes with a gusto!

Well better than the child over the back to me that screamed for more than a hour today. I had to look at it that mum was not letting the child having its own way. Never mind Maggie it sounds she will look after herself x

Ann - she will definitely look after herself! :-S
Last year, aged 3, whilst on holiday, she was trying to use a space hopper, but was too short, and ended up on her face. (quite a few times)
Her cousin (8, and a boy) was getting worried for her and suggested she stop before she hurt herself.
She flounced off in a huff - if she'd have known the word, I swear she would have accused him of 'mansplaining' :-D :-D
Anyway - she went off in a huff to a tent - her 10 year old cousin's tent (brother of the 8 year old) - and filled it with her toys :-D :-D :-D
