1901 film Lancashire.

I recognise this piece of film Mr M.

There was a series on BBC4, I believe, a few years back, about Mitchell and Kenyon. As far as I can remember these reels of film were retrieved from a bin to be thrown out. They were restored by BFI and shown to a wider audience.

Two DVD's were also produced, which I bought, as I was so taken by the films. Fascinating pieces of a by-gone age.

Thanks Mr M, am just reading a book about person who’s ancestors worked at the Glebe, the authors mother was sent home from India to continue her schooling ...living in Hollinwood with her Aunt. :-D :-D <3
