Free Access on Find My Past from 1200 GMT 8 Nov to 11 Nov marking a century since the first Armistice Day.

You will have to Register with FMP providing Credit Card Details. Once Registered REMEMBER to go into 'My Account' on FMP to check that the Auto Renewal is off or else you will be charged after 11Nov :-)

"Just to clarify the Free Weekend will only require a free registered account, so there’s no need to turn auto renewal off at the end to prevent a payment - no card details are requested unless someone tries to view a record not included in the free access".

Joan, in the past FMP have credited those who already are subscribers.

Go into My Subscription on you Account and see whether your current subscription is for an exact year or a bit longer :-)
