I remember Gaynor bear, she visited the Lord Mayor's Parade with me in Norwich. I still have my mini Gaynor bear, sitting behind me on a shelf.

Never heard of Gund bears, but recognise the name Gaynor bear.

She was a one-off, much travelled and with quite a collection of belongings by the time she arrived in Canterbury.
I took her to a few places locally and was only thinking of her at the end of October, as I remember taking her to Samphire Hoe and there were pumpkins decorating the area.

As for the little bears, I bought 2 and gave them away as presents.

Never heard of Gaynor Bears.

I had a teddy but no name on it. Mum threw it away, I called him Ted.

I wasn't into dolls or bears. My son he gave his bear to his baby sister, my daughter however liked pandas and had a couple but she wasn't one for dolls.

I had a pink teddy given me by a much older cousin when I was a baby, called for some reason Keith! No idea why, he must have been named by my parents but we have no Keith's in the family.I

When I was 2 we moved next door to a family with a son called Keith (he later went to work in Canada and never returned). Now my partner has the same name lol. He's not pink and fluffy tho.

Sadly Mum threw him away while I was living in Cambridge.

I had a hand knitted Dachshund dog, that had been darned quite a bit - due to my elder brothers using it to practice 'drop' kicks :-(
I took it with me to cuddle when incarcerated in a sanitorium aged 6 - and I wasn't allowed to bring it home :-( :-(

They are still on sale and are I believe an American Company. I did look at them when we were buying a special Teddy for the birth of youngest Grandson
