Dental Appointments

I have/had a dental appointment for tomorrow and rang them this morning to make sure it was OK to go.

I was told that all appointments for over 70's are being cancelled and new ones made for September onwards!! This is an NHS dentist and is apparently national policy.

it's just as well I rang up otherwise I would have driven in to town and, presumably, been turned away on the doorstep.

This is in Scotland, so may I suggest that anyone else here with an appointment in the near future gives their dentist a ring to check. I don't know about private dentists, nor about the rest of the UK.

Fortunately I don't have toothache. :-)

All our dentist closed this week. If it's urgent you're to call them and they'll see what they can do. Same with Ortho they sent instructions on what to do meanwhile.
