Trump now is talking about stationing troops about 30 km south of the Canada-US border.

That's the longest non-militarised border in the world ............. it's over 6,400 km long (almost 4,000 mi) along the south of Canada, with another almost 2,500 km (over 1,500 miles) shared with Alaska to the north-west.

Canada's PM and Foreign Minister are telling him that WE don't need it :-D

He's worried about the coronavirus. I wonder if he thinks we'll deliberately sent it down to stop him getting all businesses back in action before Easter??

The border has already been closed to all but essential traffic in BOTH directions by orders of both countries.

I don't watch The Simpsons, but it is their 30th anniversary and there is a very interesting article in Radio Times about making the programme.

Apparently Lisa foretold Trump's presidency in 2000, with a few disparaging comments and Matt Groening, the creator, said they chose Trump for the president's name because "it was the most absurd placeholder name they could think of at the time".
