Today I was searching around the Communications tower…cos there was an old pic taken probably in the early 60’s and directly behind the tower was another tall structure which in the modern day pic is not there :-0 |

They were still herding cattle and sheep up York Way from Kings Cross in the 1950's, to the Caledonian Cattle Market, to be slaughtered. No refrigerated trucks then. :-0 :-0 |

Ann sent a photo of sheep being herding between the parks in London as they were used to keep the grass down in the parks....think it was the end of the 19th beginning of the 20th century :-D :-D |
