The loo seat

When males visit and the female occupant of the house has to avoid using the downstairs loo for the duration to restrict the annoyance of the seat being up to just once - after they have gone.
If I say anything some have the cheek to get angry with me while one has said ' oh, wife is always saying that' :-0
I find this a slobby habit :-| but when the sole occupant is female, downright disrespectful. :-|

Seldom have any male visitors, so not a problem here,
but 'Your house, your rules' should apply.

Is it too much for them to leave the room as they find it?

Exactly Gwyn!

All of my visitors are male - brothers and a friend. The wife is far too grand to visit me - which I am grateful for. ;-)

I'll be making some notices this afternoon.

I used to have a picture hanging in my cloakroom which said "lower the seat, ladies present, a wet behind is most unpleasant.

I never had a problem with my late OH and these days have not got any male visitors who visit who leave the seat up so I must be lucky. It is not nice and it is disrespectful. Maybe a notice on the door. "if you can't lower the seat, you can't use the loo!"

Simple answer is don't lift the seat - sit down!
Standing often leaves smells :-0

Shouldn't they put the seat - and lid - down before flushing?
