… covid.
Just done a mercy run to son. He had run his fridge down as he was coming over here for Easter.

He has avoided it until now. Daughter still hasn’t had it. But I realised that neither of them had really experienced feeling really ill. They’ve never even had proper flu.

Having sent me a bare bones shopping list yesterday by this morning when I rang to ask how much milk etc he didn’t want to know. Felt too awful to deal with sorting shopping. Hopefully tomorrow he will feel a bit better and want proper shopping.

Hope he feels better soon. He will feel worse if he has never had anything like flu.. He will soon be hungry again I hope and wanting his shopping (and his Mum).

Sorry to hear that son feels so rough. I hope he is soon over the worst.

It is certainly still about.
My friend's sister-in-law is in hospital and now has caught Covid in there.

I was talking to someone earlier this week, who was astonished that I hadn't yet had Covid, as he had had it 5 times.
In the early days, when I tested, sometimes I had a positive result, so went through all the palaver of booking a more thorough test at the testing centre.
Each time, those later tests were negative and at no time was I feeling ill, I was routinely testing, before going to meet up with people.

Don’t think we’ll be doing anything more than doorstep deliveries as we off on our hols in a couple of weeks.

Haven’t seen him for sges as he couldn’t come over around my birthday as he had the really bad cough going around and then I went down with it - morphed into heavy sinus which hit my asthma. To make it worse aI missed a family funeral.

Hopefully we come home hale and hearty.

I think younger people have missed out on understanding being ill as all those childhood jabs have stopped it.

Oops Wasn’t aware that this had gone on several times. Surprised I didn’t spot it - thanks to whoever reported it - hopefully the extras will now get removed.

I think you can remove them yourself.

That’s what I thought, but there is no delete ‘button’.

My post has a blue delete button at the top, 'report, edit, delete'.

On the reported extra ones the option has gone. If I had been sent a message I could have deleted them myself.
