JG, thanks. Funeral and burial was today at Ozzy's Buckingham home. I doubt they would have needed a funeral director like us less famous and/or wealthy. folk. Still very sad of course. Death is a great leveller :-(

Island, I was surprised at the funeral being so soon but I believe the actual funeral is being held at the home as I read Sharon wants Ozzie to be buried in the garden with a very private service and burial. May not be true of course . The drive through Birmingham and passing by his birthplace in Aston went off very well I believe.
He and Black Sabbath were not to my liking and I never saw the tv shows they did as a family but there were certainly a lot of people turned out in Brum.

Was anyone else surprised that Ozzie's funeral was only 8 days after his death? Had they pre-booked? Everyone one else can't get a date for tree weeks minimum - in my experience.

The message, from his wife Sharon Osbourne and their three children – Kelly, Jack and Aimee, read:
It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.

RIP. <3 <3
