Was just out of the shower when my bestie called in - but she stopped for coffee and chocolate cake. A lass after my own heart <3

Warm and bright with the sun showing its face every now and then. I swept the garden path because the pesky birds were enjoying themselves playing around with the dead leaves following the pruning of trees. They are like children - I watched them yesterday and they were having a rare old time!

It'll be the insects they're after, of course. :-S

It's actually brightening up and warming up nicely since this morning.

I've actually surprised myself and done some washing, washed the kitchen floor and scrubbed the inside of my oven door (which is always covered in grease). I've just got my ironing board out - but got distracted by the computer so haven't started to iron yet.

I did do a bit of reading at breakfast time though :-)
