I’ve just had a letter from the NHS dated 7 days ago telling me I can book a flu jab.

No thanks! I had one 11 days before the date of the letter :-|

I think they have so many systems going on that we are all confused.
I get messages on my mobile phone, which I seldom use, prefer emails. Sometimes we get messages on the landline. And sometimes we get letters. The last text asked if I wanted to be paperless, and I said no.
Then I happened to log in my surgery, and found an appointment for a check up that I didn't know about. It's tomorrow.

It would have been your fault if you had missed it, yet why would one think of looking.

I once turned up for an early appointment and got told off because they had cancelled by text, I hadn’t had my phone on and probably wouldn’t have heard it anyway. Then the receptionist refused to re book the test ad ‘they didn’t do that one anymore’. Took some persuading that it had been asked for.

I had about 4 reminders for my flu jab - after I'd had it!!
