What a disgrace for a member of the Royal family. Stubborn as a mule.I bet he didn't think his brother would go that far. But I feel that it is strange that even though all his titles etc have been stripped and he is totally disgraced, he is still 8th in line to the Throne.

A small point AnnG but I think you mean his brother rather than father.

Andrew was so arrogant when he did that awful interview, I think he thought he was untouchable and that it was his word against Virginia's, because of his status nobody would believe her......it was cringeworthy :-0

I feel sorry for The King because each day a new revelation hits the newspapers about Andrew......at the end of the day, as the saying goes, you can choose your friends but you can't choose your family :-(

I'm sure, in time, they will be able to remove his lineage to the throne but as this is so unprecedented they will have to ensure that it is done correctly as there are so many ancient laws to contend with :-(

It is highly unlikely that 8th in line to the throne will ever reign anyway as if Prince George, Louis and Princess Charlotte have children he will be bumped down the pecking order anyway.
He deserved all he got IMO he has always been the spoiled obnoxious one.

The statement he made after losing his awards the other week was clearly made with gritted teeth.

Demanding those houses for himself and his wife proved his sense of entitlement - just because he was offered Frogmore Cottage once didn’t mean he’d get offered it again. Just like in real life- if you turn down the offer of council accomodation you usually go back to the bottom again.

I imagine that William would have had a say in all this as he is wanting to slim down the monarchy even more when he becomes King.

I didn't know that they could strip Andrew of his Prince title but think it's the right thing.

I do think it's right that Sarah has to get her own place now .

I'm glad that Andrew has been stripped of all his titles, serves him right and Sarah is old enough to look after herself. I think she will go back to America, but I do feel so sorry for their two daughters. Fancy having to face the public with everyone knowing what your father is like. They always look uncomfortable when they are pictured anywhere near him.

but what about others that must have been involved probably over the pond. No mention or naming of them. Andrew must pay but is he the scapegoat for others who must be rubbing their hands with glee that all the attention has been focused on one man.
