Watched a bit of the opening ceremony for the World Cup. I presume the woman shaking her booty was Shakira. All the singing was in Spanish, so could not join in with it. :-D :-D ;-)

Errrm.... not everyone was crying out for rain.
I don't want the weeds encouraging :-|
I don't water the garden much - let the roots go down and search for it.
When needs be I get it from the water butt.

That took me ages as I have a broken wing :-(

I got caught in the rain on the way home, but just a dampening, not a soaking.
It's not so bad if you are homeward bound, but I hate going somewhere and having to sit in soggy clothes :-| :-|

Sun made a brief appearance later, but was no sooner here, then it was gone again.

I'd agree with Belle, sometimes someone new to a situation asks different questions and you get a better outcome.
I hope the new medicine regime helps.
I completely understand about having a family member with you to help with the quiet voice.
I often wonder why there are so many doctors with strong accents or quiet voices working in ENT departments too :-S

Kath, sometimes it's good to have new eyes look at an issue especially when it is medical <3. Hopefully, the new medication regime will help and make you feel more comfy <3

I can take or leave opening ceremonies as they seem to go on forever :-0 Although I did like the London 2012 opening ceremony and watched it from start to finish :-D

Very grey here and rain promised shortly :-(

I was awake at 6am this morning but unlike all you early birds I turned over and went back to sleep :-D

Met my new doctor yesterday. She seems very nice but I was glad my son was with me because she speaks very quietly.

I've got a stronger water tablet for two weeks and a week's worth of antibiotics for my leg and my diabetic medication has been increased from 2 tablets a day to 3. I have to have a blood test in a fortnight to check my kidneys are o.k. and another blood test in 3 months to check on my blood glucose level. She seems very thorough.

Hopefully she won't want to see me too often as I try to stay away from the doctors if I can.

Wish we had a Sparkles nearer to us. The three nearest to us have all closed down.

Enjoy whatever you are doing today. I'm getting my hair cut but I don't have to go out as the hairdresser comes to me :-)

Got a bit narky I thought, lots of holding and shirt pulling. Still the end result was promising. Opening ceremony tonight, then I shall disappear and watch something else. :-D :-D
