My neighbour used to listen to children read once a week, Gwyn, she enjoyed it too but I could not do it. I only enjoyed school at the infant level, after which I hated it. :-(

I think I generally enjoyed school, particularly making great friends.

I was more of a 'steady progress' person, rather than a high achiever.

My time now in school involves just sitting in a chair listening to children read (Year 4, so 8 and 9 years old) and writing a few observations and encouraging comments in their Reading Record, - a small home/ school book which records their progress.

Hardly taxing for me, so I enjoy it. ;-)

Morning Joy :-) <3

Washing out already :-0
You have excelled yourself today !

Like you, I woke up early and then ended up making a cuppa.
I'll get my breakfast soon, before heading off to school.
I think we're in for a very wet day, although the sun is shining, at the moment.

Cream cakes with a friend?
Sounds a great plan to me... Enjoy :-D

Morning all. :-D <3

Could not get back to sleep this morning so I have a line of washing out already. Just as well because the forecast is for rain this afternoon by which time, I hope, my washing will be dry as there is some sun at the moment.

My bestie is coming across this arvo so I may nip out and get a couple of cream cakes from Sparkles. :-D

Have a good day everyone. :-D <3
