THOUGHTS ON -------------------------------------------------------------------------- this septered isle--where-in past times you have known the conquerds shame ruled by beligerent foe--of countless crimes a dejected nation rendered tame here once with banded neck in servitude man held his fellow with indignity him a slave he made --without hope or restitude in fear he lived--made subject to ignominity and to our shame these many things ere seen since englishmen cast off the tyrants yoke countless the years--we've championed freedoms dream mans better nature strived we to evoke now on the path of history we to tread we--who nothing from its pages thus dicern march forth to subdigate--and terror spread the lesser man to conquer and to spurn some empire rome--to fair britain--gave birth bequeathed she to her child insacious greed she as that mother loosens out her girth too buisy playing harlot to give heed king of the south the writings on the wall numbered are your days--so mark me well the enemy within shall bring your fall your iminent demise the prophets tell --------------------------------------------------------------- colin F
