I am looking for descendants of James Henry Robert Hawkins born in 1871 in Dublin. He was the son of George and Mary Jane Hawkins (nee Goad). James HR Hawkins married, abt 1891, Caroline Ann Josephine Horton, they had at least 4 children, George J Hawkins born abt 1893, Alice born abt 1894, Mildred, born 11 Jan 1898 and James born abt 1899. The family lived in Woolwich, although James HR's grandparents were originally from Christchurch in Hampshire. James HR's occupation was that of Engine Machinist, however at some point after 1901 he and his family moved north to Co Durham where he was recorded as a Gamekeeper at his daughter, Mildred, wedding to Thomas William Elliott in 1927 |
