To Michael Bailey. Have you thought about checking the records of the local paper. Such a company would be mentioned in the paper and so would their family even in passing though if there was a marriage then it would have been formally announced in the paper as would the birth of any children. You may find some interesting family items/details in the paper to bring them to life so to say.
