To Chris Eccles It would be worth your while checking the electoral register for St Albans. The number of people living there at the time wouldn't have been great so whilst it would take a while yo may find well find her. Any idea if she worked. If so where. There may be other records which you could trace. A search of the local papers records might possibly reveal something especially if she got married and the wedding was announced.
