I am new to genes reunited and live in Canada. I was hoping to find some of my relative that I have traced back to the early 1800s from England. The names are George Kingshott b est 1816 in Essex, Sarah Puttoch b? , both immigrated in 1832 to Canada and married here. Apparently they were on the same ship. Another name I am searching is Jane Kitchen apparently b. 1814 Whitehaven, Cumb, and emigrated to Canada in 1822 with her father and 2 brothers. Could anyone be of any help? Since I have crossed the 'pond' I seem to be hitting brick walls. England BMD only goes back to 1837. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
