We are lucky here with fruit - I just made my darling a fresh fruit platter for breakfast. Mangoes are only $1 each, strawberries $2 punnet, kiwifruit 5 for $1 and we were lucky last week to get bananas for 50c each. They have been up to $17 a kilo, due to the major banana area being devastated by a cyclone early in the year and it has taken this long for the next lot of bananas to grow.
