Hi all, Just had an email back from the online marriage cert. ordering service with a refund and 'checking fee' for a cert that I tried to order. I entered the volume and page number in correctly but they say that I entered my Granny's surname incorrectly. The question on the online form is: 'womans surname at marriage' (here lies the ambiguity) so I entered her surname.ie, marriage name. I've been on the phone to them this morning and what they seem to have wanted is her maiden name but the form as you can see above dosent state this and Ive been charged a checking fee for this. I feel aggrieved about this and wondered what you all think. |
