hi john victoria.....i think that when you start you have no idea what you are going to find.....once you start to find people on the cencus and such like you get a rell feel for how they lived.......it just makes you more curious about them. I had an ancestor who emigrated to america in 1884.....he went with his family and two brother and thier families. A scheme was set up to help people out of the poor mining industy in nottingham and people where offered a one way passage and a parcel of land. Well my people went there....i guess to try and improve thier lot.....sadly withing 10 years all three brother where dead.......whats odd is that they where all killed in a mining accident in wyoming.......fancy going all that way and still dying in a mine!
