I've got hooks that have been glued on to the window frames by previous owners. Any idea how to remove them, they're stuck fast? |

If they are glued using the felt type sticky pads, get a thin piece of stout thread, and use it as a saw to cut through the pad,, a la cheese wire I needed to take off my car number plates, and it worked there... white spirit will usually remove traces of glue, as used on sticky labels Bob |

Hello all, sorry Kay, theyre plastic hooks on UPVC windows and they're on every window in the house. He used them to hang net curtains. I;ve got white spirit, I'll try that and the polish - someone did mention nail polish remover. |

Careful with the nail polish - test it first on a place that is well hidden. WD40 is quite good at penetrating the small space to soften the glue C |

I would ring a double glazing company for advice as they deal with this kind of plastic all the time. |
