Hubby has just started playing squash with our eldest son, having not payed for 20 odd years. The first week he did really well and beat David, this week.......not only did he lose, he came home in a terrible state, he twisted wrong and has torn his calf muscle really badly from achillies tendon, all the way up and also his hamstring!! Had to go to A&E 'cos he is in so much pain, the bruising and swelling is something else.....all from playing a game....and what is he moaning about????? the fact he can't play for 5-6 weeks!!! Men!! Lol

Oh Penny, if what Mal was like is anything to go by you have my full sympathy. To be fair to him he isn't a man who complains when ill/hurting, but he was in agony, so it must be bad. He isn't having physio as such, just lots of anti inflamatries, pain killers and massage with deep heat from me. Luckily we are quite up on how to treat injuries like it due to Mal's sports past and Davids many football injuries, lol Only trouble is the house stinks of deep heat at the moment %3A-%28(
