good for you Liz - I can't get my head round it at the moment - half of me wants to stop and half of me doesn't. I wish you and OH loads of luck - don't let him beat you lol and if he won't let you beat him, then you can both be stubborn as mules and beat the fags! Maz. XX

Thanks for the replies and good wishes. Sorry not to have replied before - been trying to get some sleep today. Am at work again tonight. Still not had a ciggie - and I am determined NOT to start again and as hubby has quit too - will not let him have the satisfation of seeing me smoke again. I admire people that have the will power to give up without any help. I feel I needed some help and the patches seem to help somewhat. We are saving up the money and are talking about ways to enjoy all our new found wealth next year - maybe a good holiday or something. Thanks again. Liz

Hi again Jax - you have a good reason there. Just think of the visit to your friends. Julie - I had smoked for 29 years - and am so detirmined to suceed. I opened a mini cash isa - and money saved will be going into that - and I can watch the money grow - and not be tempted. The patches seem to be doing the trick so far, and am trying to keep myself busy at work - especially around the times I would normally have lit up. Liz
