I don't quite understand what you want, the reference is correct, the only way to get more information is to send off for the marriage certificate. Hope this helps. It is best to post on the tips or record office boards for help with look-ups. |

Welcome to posting Sarah Jane. Unfortunately people won't be able to access further information beyond that which you already have. You need to send for the marriage certificate to find more details. You can do this online, - cost £7 from the GRO site. Gwyn |

Well done, you will soon be an old hand at buying certificates, wait until you get into looking at the census returns.....very exciting and sometimes confusing, but totally addictive. Good luck with your research and if you get stuck again, just ask. |

do you know where to send off for certs, beware cos there are some sites that charge the earth as middle men even tho they get them from The General Register Office Southport for £7. Thats the place you should get them from too and only pay £7. you can do this online with a debit or credit card. Make sure you tick the box on the first page of request that you have the GRO ref. Thats the info you quoted. this is the site http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/default.asp Shirley |
