have been looking to find were my g,grandparents are buried but was getting nowere so i thought i,ll ring up were my g,dad is buried the lady was very helpful and said she would look and email and they are buried there plus there niece and there servant the grave then cost 4 pound 4 shilling and today would cost 3,000 and there not far from were there son is buried but hes in the war part , joyce from hollandxx

i was Liz but on the bottom it had my dads brother as excutor of hi grandmother could you tell me what that means as im not to sure joycex

Joyce, it means that your uncle was the executor of his grandmother's will. My father was the executor of his sister's, but I can't for the life of me remember the duties involved. Solicitors also often act as executors if that helps.

The executor winds up the financial affairs of the estate, pays any death duties and distrubutes the remaining assets according to the will (or intestacy rules if there is no will).
