We are just about to be 'your' neighbours..ie. renovate and extend. With this in mind I will do our utmost to be as quiet as possible. Fairly difficult though when cement mixers and power tools have to be used. Tina x

Tip for you Drop in to see, or send a card to your new neighbours, apologise in advance for the noise and give them a rough idea of how long it will take to get the noisy bit over with. Try not to start too early in the mornings or finish too late in the evenings. That way you've scuppered most complaints.

Aw, I feel sorry for you. We moved in here 3 months ago, and had to decorate top to bottom and fit all the carpets (bang, bang, bang). I put a note thru each neighbours door explaining we'd just moved in and apologising for any noise.

They've stopped now,I could cope with cement mixers etc needing to be used, but it sounded like they were band 1000's of nails into our wall.lol BB xx
