Hi, today we've done a bit of gardening, planting in tubs etc now that the rain has subsided. Afterwards, I laid slug bait (the type you don't have to exclude animals from) in and around the tubs, and on the earth. Just now we went out to check the sheds were locked and I saw this great big slug eating a piece of bait near a sunflower - and I feel terrible now. What a murderess! Now I keep thinking of the agony that creature's going to suffer because of me. Am I a hypocrite, or what.

our dog had been laid out for a few adys and we thought maybe it was the weather and a full belly after a good long run. Until he was sick and a load of slug pellets were mixed in with the sick. He is fine now.

Oh yeuk, I wonder if they're the same ones. Before I bought the pellets I checked that it was bird- and hedgehog-friendly, and it also included pets. Glad he's better now, though. x *still feel guilty*
