Partner rang to say he wouldn't get back from the airport until about 2 a.m - he had no key, so I was to leave the front door open and go to bed. I would be quite safe as his dog wouldn't let anyone in!! I must have nodded off on the sofa - OH eventually shook me awake at 2.15a.m. then we both WOKE the snoring dog. So much for a brilliant guard dog!! This is the creature that wakes me in the middle of the night if a cat so much as looks in the garden. Jay |

pmsl, Jay....I meant the dog knew you were safe!! My two never woke me at all, even with teenagers and hubby coming in at weird times...the door was never locked. Once though, someone strange poked their head in (my brother, bless him) and although they didn't attack, they certainly let me know there was an intruder...lol, that was years ago and my brother is still traumatized, he reckons!!
