Tearing my hair out trying to sort my husband's Kirkbright family out, woman is calling herself a widow but theres no death record for her bloke. Then dad in law changes his name from Edmund to Edward...her son I think was born Durham and a census backs that up, but he decides to put Hartlepool on later census, according to census he married Dorothy, yet on BMD marriages there isnt a Dorothy on the page, although there are about a million Ann's, which sort of makes up for it...and so on and so forth. |
