Viv - Umm yes I locked the door when I went out - as did my daughter - his first choice for rest & recuperation even though she lives further away!!! lol Gerri, Homelands (may not be called that now) is at Cheesefoot Head near Winchester. It's very soggy here. Daughter's partner has gone tonight. He knows where the 'hidden' key is. :o) maggie

Hey Viv...long time no hear....I heard the fireworks too lol Small world er? Hope your keeping well. I'm fine, just getting all the old newspapers out to lay on the floor in the hall before they decend on me in the morning and start helping them selves to my bacon! lol Partners fell asleep in the living room, says bedrooms too noisy lol I'm on PC in spare room. Cats in dinning room and the dogs under the stairs! lol....peace purfect peace....lol Gerri x

I'm just up the road from Homelands. Ex is there with current GF, wanted to come round today for a shower and sleep before carrying on tonight - shame I was going out!!!! We had fireworks earlier too (not me and ex lol - at the festival) it was either that or someone's gas cooker blowing up!! maggie

Hi Northernheart When Robbie was here I was trying to get off the motorway after work. It took me 2 hours to do one junction on the A1M.....and then I found I had to go to the north junction as they wouldnt let anyone off the south junction....aagghh! Where are you Northernheart and what dog do you have? I might have seen you in the valley lakes. I reconise dogs but not the owners lol

Waves to Tina out the window.....ooops! gotta go dry off now lol They must be absolutly soaked! and I dread to think of the mud! Couldnt get anywhere near the town today and wont bother tomorrow either. I think my son said it was £45 a ticket! I can think of better things to do with £45 than getting soaked in mud lol

ha thats true, i remember when robbie was playing the other year the noise.You couldnt even see the vallay never mind walking along it with the dog.

I'm in Stevenage, just up the road to Knebworth house. I can hear the boom! boom! booming...........it's TIDDLING down!.......Glad I'm old n warm n dry lol....All my three adult kids are there with partners and friends........I'll be doing the egg n bacon sarnies in the morning.............Gerri x
