Got back from work and poor little Snowy was so sick took her straight to vet, they couldn't do anything for her, he gave her a little wiff of gas and she just drifted into that eternal sleep peacefully. She was only 10 months old and we'd had her from the day she was born. Matty is absoloutely devastated--he's had such a crap month with being so poorly himself and having surgery- sometimes life is so unfair. We're both booing our eyes out him for Snows and me for them both! Carol

Had a little funeral, then played with the other hammies, he is totally devastated, his friend has come to sleep over so that is chearing him up a bit. Everytime he cries I want to as well. I've copied the Rainbow Bridge poem for him, isn't it lovely? Thanks everyone, I'm on my own tonight and it is so nice to have friends close by to talk too Carol
