We were watching EuroNews last night and in the 'No Comment' part, it showed some flashing lights and what looked like a train passing, but really it did not make sense. The heading was Newcastle Australia, can anyone explain, please. Derek in France

Not sure if I'm 100% right here Derek, but Australian Mark Viduka has signed for Newcastle United (from Middlesborough). He is going to play for his country in the Asian Cup. Mau

Yes your answer could be right one Annie! Newcastle is the second oldest city in Australia, and, I believe,is the largest exporter of coal in the world! ....perhaps the trains and lights had something to do with that. Let us know when you find your answer Derek? Mau xx

OK you lot, there is enough barmy armies about without me starting one, but I do love your answers. Sorry I have been off line, perhaps a fault somewhere. However I googled Newcastle OZ and yes Mau it is a coal place and its has been suffering some extreme weather to the extent that coal prices have risen because the port is closed. Another feature is a 40,000 tonne coal carrier has been accidently beached locally, Noddies beach or similiar!! But from EuroNews with no commentary, youwould never know. Bye for now, Derek

Well thanks Rona for the update. Wikipedia states that Newcastle, NSW is the seventh largest and second oldest CITY in Australia. Are you suggesting that this library of knowledge is obviously run by mere men. Have a great weekend, but give us blokes a break, Derek in France
