Heavy rain Saturday for York - theres a severe weather warning been issued by Met Office and no doubt more floods here in Yorkshire. Suggest you look at Environment Agency regarding flood warnings as well. Most rivers in Yorkshire have either flooded on on Flood Alert.

A severe weather warning is still in force. According to BBC Weather site as at 10pm tonight (Friday) weather for York will be: Saturday @ York Light Rain starts 7am, Heavy rain starts 1pm until 7pm when should go back to light rain. Sunday & Monday Heavy Rain Showers Very surprised you unaware of major floods in Yorkshire, can only recommend if you driving you be on the lookout for flooding en route. Even the East Coast Main Line was shut down for 2 or 3 days this week twixt Doncaster & York Hope this helps from Ron in Doncaster-under-Water
