A couple of years ago or so my 2nd cousin sent me a disc with some family photos on. I've just put the disc in to look at the pictures and they same to have been replaced by some spreadsheets from my cousin's office. This I could proabably understand if she had reused a disc, but there is a copy of a letter on there also....but it has got today's date on it!!!!!! |

Cool ! ! ! I heard shuffling in the front room last night, so I went in expecting my boys to be back from next door and no one was in there and then the clock fell off the wall! ! ! I said, 'Ooh, Hello!' Not spooky or weird, I think it's so cool. |

Star....it's quite bizarre as the reason I was looking for the photos was to send one to another contact I've had for that side of the family |

The letter was probably typed with a program that automatically updates the date when you open the file. |

Mary....I was just discussing whether there was such a program with my daughter and you have answered our question. Still would like to know what happened to the photos! |

In e.g. Word, if you insert a date you have the option to set it to update automatically each time the document is opened. So if you use a template for a letterhead you don't need to type in today's date each time. |

I have a gate over my lounge door at the moment. y'day my dog Tanisha was staring through the gate and I couldn't understand why. When I looked through, the weights that hang from my cuckoo clock (which is not working at moment) were slowly swinging side to side?? I hadn't been near them and no one else was about. Tanisha sometimes sits barking in the corner of the dining room too. Hy house has someone here, but I'm not worried. |

Jeanette, Have you thoroughly explored the disc in case the photos are stored on there somewhere and you inadvertently opened word or some other WP folder? Ann Glos |

Shirley Ann, methinks you might find that,...as the clock strikes, the wheels that carry the chains WILL move the chain to the side, as it winds.........the wheels where the chain bears are NOT usually round but have 'Flats' in them to let the chain seat properly...... our grandfather clock sometimes does the same..... ooooops!!! even more strange, I didnt see that bit first time,....(clock not working.....)
