So sorry to hear about your son.Its worth calling in the police. When my daughter was 14 she was attacked outside Tescos. My daughter can hold her own and gave the girl back more than she thought she would get.The girls parents called the police and both girls were cautioned.A few weeks ago and some might remember my daughter was attacked in the tea room at college while she was deciding what sandwich she wanted. The girl bashed her in the side called her everything under the sun and then punched my daughter in the face.My daughter by automatic defended herself and gave worse back. The girl got a caution but my daughter was arrested and had to go to court. The court threw it out and told the police to give a caution. She had a final warning and she is 17.It stays on record to she is 18.So i would say go for it.It might calm them down.It will not do much for my daughter as she has said if someone wants to attack her she will defend herself whatever the cost.My daughter has never started any trouble. That is? Well i don't get this, has the schjool got a bad reputation? For a teacher to say that (were they worried, stressed or plain ignorant) then means there is no real control, you can tell play fights to bullies fights...Please chat with son and school and i really hope and trust all will be sorted. So sorry to hear this. I do hope the bullies have been properly punished. The broken arm will heal with time. I just hope there are not too many emotional scars. Jean x. |

A broken arm indicates a serious assault...and the lads are 14. They were fully aware of what they were doing. I would take it to the police, and take it from there. I hope your lad makes a full recovery...physical and emotional. Getting justice is part of that, I imagine. I hope all goes well...especially as I get the feeling from a previous thread that this isn't the first time? Take care Daff xxx |

Ok, Thanks and glad he is ok now....Right if you speak with the police and cps decided to take it on ( sure they will) then these boys will get upto a 5 year caution and or worse but i don't know full story. You have it in your right to contact police but if you think it may cause you boy more bother then think, if the have been excluded then is that enough..Speak to your son and decide..Good luck.X |

If the school wont do anything you should report it to the police.I hope your son makes a fast and full recovery and that those responsible receive the punishment they deserve. My son was bullied for ages and never told us because he was afraid it would make things worse. His behaviour changed and he became very angry and was stealing money from my purse. He wouldn't talk to us and we ended up having him referred to a behavioural therapist who saw him once and said he didn't have anything wrong with him.I felt awful when everything came out and he said 'what can you do,except make things worse?' HE'S 27 now but I still remember how desperate he was at the time . |
