I agree VERY annoying and expensive. The other thing is when they keep telling you 'your call is important to us' if my call is that important WHY DON'T YOU SPEAK TO ME grrrr. Pat

when i rang up about my router and explained it had no power to it, answer ' are there any lights on it' no, there is no power to it and i have checked fuse ' are there any flashing lights ' no there is no power to it' what colour are the lights i cant put here what i replied .

The OH was on the phone trying to sort out a prob with a company the other day & by the sound off his voice he wasnt getting much joy.But them i heard him say if you cant sort it can i speek to one off the managers & next thing he says' oh you've found the problem now have you!!!!!!!!!!! its funny what they can do when you try getting the boss involved.

yes it does peggy, what annoys me is we are charged for waiting in the que too, and these for services dont come cheap, i had a call from bt to ring them back 45 min i was waiting arrrrrrrrrg could have ironed in that time x

know what you mean Joan. My OH thinks I'm on my laptop all day (which I am of course) when I'm not at work! I say to him, who do you think did the housework and cooked a nice casserole, the dogs?

Enjoy the brew Shirley Ann. My husbands switch board has an awful 'voice spouting on about product information' tape which when I have to be subjected to it (if his line is busy) I put the phone down. Annoys him so much that I am not waiting at the other end of the line; he emails me ! Don't know why he thinks I am on the pc all day !!!!!!! Joan

Urh no, but that is how long you have to wait with BG, sometimes longer!! I had to wait cos I wanted to complain!! I'll go and put the kettle on and keep waiting. I'll practice my screaming while I'm out there!!

The most annoying one here is the national phone company where when you ring you get 'if this is not urgent please ring back at another time', only thing is you get that same message no matter what time of the day it is - Michelle
