Hi Pat & Carol and Lesley & Julie I think we are called 'Whovians'. People who watch Dr Who. I love it and have since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I think this Doctor is one of my favourites. Also loved Torchwood. Shame about Capn Jack Harkness. He is a bit cute. Ria xxx Still scared of the Daleks.

Hi Pat I read that when Freema Agyeman played that part, they then had her in mind to take over from Billie Piper Julie this is it Executive producer/writer Russell T Davies says: 'The search for a new companion had been underway for some time when I first saw Freema Agyeman, she had come in to audition for the part of Adeola in series two. 'Watching her during filming confirmed what an exciting new talent she was so, under cover of darkness, we called her back in to audition with David for the role of the new companion.

on Dr Who confidential, a while back (sorry Dr Who anorak here!!! lol) they said that it was during that episode that she was 'discovered' and that they thought then she had the potential to be the next companion so they invited her to do a screen test and their thoughts proved correct--I think so to, she's quite a good companion Carol

Following on from Julies thread about noticing familiar people. If anyone has the last series of Dr Who, watch the last one of that series. Remember the ghost shift? When the computer opperators overid the orders (by Chrissie, Eastenders!) to cancel it? When the Dr goes over to one of them, he zaps her with his sonic, and she screams. Have a look at her . Recognise her? Pat
