I am trying to find information on my grandads army regiment. He was in the 18th Light Anti-Aircraft, Royal Artillery (18th LAA, RA), I am sure he said it was worcestershire. I have searched and gone round in circles, gone Google-ing mad, and got nowhere! I did (somewhere) find a reference to the regiment and that (somebody) was trying to get funding off the council to publish a book about the regiment, but (surprise) the council refused. Does anybody know if the book ever got published and what it is called. Could the regiment have had a name change? Does anybody know where I can find information on this regiment - or does anybody have any relations that were in this regiment. Grandad was a gunner, and he is 90 in a fortnight. It would be a really nice surprise if I could find something for him - for when I visit him in Ireland (Thats going to be a surprise aswell!)
