Hello, Does anyone know if there are any records anywhere of British Subjects births/marriages/deaths? Through the kind people on this website I believe I have located some info of my Great Grandma - Adelaide Veall. That she was born in Bellary, India in 1896 and was wondering if there was a way to get any further info? Thank you for any help. Regards, Carey.

Hi Carey, there are separate indexes for BMD's overseas that were either registered at the Consulate or through the Military. You can search them at http://www.findmypast(.)com/index.html but you have to pay to see the actual details of the index. Certs can then be ordered from the GRO. Maz. XX
