Directed by Edgar Wright, who also directed the series 'Spaced' on Ch4 - old schoolmate and friend of my eldest stepson and maker of films from an early age - he even persuaded Jeremy Beadle to star in one of his early efforts! Hails from Somerset - a lot of 'Hot Fuzz' was shot in and around Wells.

I watched shaun of the dead (one of my fave films) then hot fuzz straight after last week, they are both hysterical. 2 of the funniest films I have ever seen but not for the sqeamish lol For the record both films were written by the same people Simon Pegg who played Shaun and Sergeant Angel and the director Edgar wright of both films. I just said so-thought you were gardening? It's about a british bobby who is so good at his job he gets transfered to a sleepy villiage in Gloucestershire where nothing happens, but things change. It's made in the same style of these american cop films all action and stuff but looks so funny cos it's 2 british bobbies. I never laughed so much. It's made by the same makers of sean of the dead and similar to your kohn brothers type movies. catherine xx
