how many 3rd cousins have you found?

I've got 54 1st cousins, I dread to think how many 3rd ones there are! When I find a spare few hours, I'll have a go at finding out.

just realised why some worked out as 2nd cousins. Thats because they share great grand parents..........doh They have to stem from Great great grandparents and not share anything else lol

I have 32 names but I have only met a few of them. We keep our information on Generations. If I go to ..Edit.....then.....Find ..I can ask for a list of all 3rd cousins. Gwyn

you just have to know their names. I am confused as mine does not work out right. In the e-mail it says your 2nd great grand parents. so that is great great grand parents. Well on my mums fasthers side there are none as most of them did not marry or their children did not marry. Just says you need their names. I think they are trying to increase membership. I have found 5 but on one of the charts I did the ones who were the same generation as me are only 2nd cousins. Totally confused by it all.

a competition has been set by the lost cousins website to find how many 3rd cousin we all have found. finding it hard to work it out. I have family tree maker but not sure how to get all my 3rd cousins appear. If I have any. Found quite a few 4th cousins. Any suggestions please?
