Hope so Doreen..... They said they could have sent her to Bradford but then said she was 'over the weight' for the op??? So she has to wait for either Leeds or Otley for her op...Hopefully she won't have to wait 18weeks now? Her poor daughter was really upset - until she saw her best friend in Saudi was online, then she cheered up a bit... LOU XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX |

Had no idea about it at all - still don't really know anything about it now! She had these pains now for over two years - docs told her it was stress, then a possible ulcer..Then finally sent her last month for a scan which has confirmed 'multiple stones', She was at the docs yesterday and was told she'd need 'an op' - thats all i know really - to be honest, she's not the most reliable person so i thought it had been exaggerated - Whoops! lol.... Well, they needn't think i'm goning to get them - they sound really painful!!!? LOU XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXx off to bed now. Nite all and thanks. xxx |

Hope your sister gets treated soon, if they are anything like kidney stones, they are agony, no matter which way you try to move or lie down or stand, the pain doesn't ease because it is inside the kidney or gall bladder. I would rather have had to go through labour again than that pain. I am sure you have a healthy diet but if they are kind of hereditary then look on line to see what you must do or not do, to avoid them. Liz |
